Donald David Kettles
Donald David Kettles, 71, of Glasgow died Sunday in Edmonton, KY.  He was the son of the late Floyd B. and Clarine White Kettles.  His wife was the late Ruby Slayton Kettles.  Mr. Kettles was a life-long farmer. 
He is survived by a daughter, Linda Jewell (Edward) of Cave City; 7 step-children, Brian Bowles (Brandy Brawner), Sandra Bowles (Chris Madison), Margaret Fowler, Martha Wren, Billy, Jerry and Mike Bowles, 2 grandchildren David Finn (Julia) and Ronnie Finn (Amanda), 3 great-grandchildren Zachary Finn, Bryson and Blake Bryant, several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, 1 brother Melvin B. Kettles, and special friends Harold and Shirley Coomer and Betty Faye Coomer.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Doug Kettles and Jack Ernest Nifong and a sister Anna Coates.
Graveside services and burial will be 2:30 PM Wednesday at the Kettles Cemetery on Poynter Rd. in Barren County.  Visitation will be at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 11:00am until 2:00pm.

Charles E. Lewis

Charles E. Lewis, 82, of Glasgow, died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home.  He was born in Glasgow the son of the late Rennick and Ruby Smith Lewis.  Charles was a former general sales manager for auto dealerships in Florida and was also in the landscape supply business.  He was a veteran serving in the U. S. Army and was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Harlow Lewis; his daughter Carla McPhee of Woodstock, GA; 5 grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsi and Winston McPhee, Steven Lewis and Jincy Soler (Shawn); 1 great-grandchild Rennick Soler; a daughter-in-law Sara Lewis of Tampa, FL; 1 sister Joanne Bunch of Louisville; 1 brother Rondal Lewis of Tampa, FL and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Steven Perry Lewis in 2013.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 19th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11am until time for the service.
